According to New Zealanders, Australians have a bad habit of stealing their celebrities and accomplishments and their culture. Consequently, New Zealanders may be disgruntled to see an Australian selling their ice cream at Buddy Café in Duong Dong. Everyone else is, however, delighted. You can get ice cream for 20,000 Dong (US$1) a scoop at this café, which is owned by an Aussie guy Rohan and his Vietnamese wife Duong. They also make milkshakes and toasted sandwiches, in the Australian style. Rohan can give you plenty of information about traveling around Phu Quoc if you ask him. There is also free internet and wifi for your laptop. The interior decorating is both retro and new, with pastel colored chairs and sofas, glass topped tables, black benches and a black and white tiled floor. You won’t often find places as fresh and clean as this in outback Vietnam.
Visit this restaurant to enjoy decilious ice-cream as well as laid-back atmosphere plus you can feel free to make friends with local people there.
